Project Accessible Oral Health

Inspirational Film

Today, over 6.5 million mentally handicapped adults do not have access to quality dental care. Project Accessible Oral Health (PAOH) is a non-profit changing the way oral healthcare is delivered to, and received, by people with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. We collaborated with PAOH to dive into one family’s struggle to secure dental care for their son.

This is Terrance Davis’s emotional journey to get his smile back.

Approach

For PAOH’s “All Smiles Shine” campaign, we captured footage of a young man seeking accessible dental care and produced 3-minute film that tells the story of disparities within oral healthcare in a heartfelt, impassioned, and inspiring way.

To bring this story to life, RF Studio53 filmed Terrence receiving dental treatment, interviewed members of his family, met the dentist who cared for Terrence, and collected photos from Terrence’s life to create a 360-degree look at the challenges they faced.

Let’s work together.

Our team is ready to start the conversation.
