Council on Foreign Relations

World101

The future of our planet lies in the hands of kids, who must learn to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world. How do we get them to understand these forces, and to care? Over the course of an ongoing five-year engagement with the Council on Foreign Relations, we’ve co-developed a suite of integrated video content for World101, an educational portal which uses a variety of multimedia storytelling techniques to teach students about all aspects of global civics.

As a centerpiece to CFR’s #globalcivics campaign, we created a character-driven sing-a-long musical showing just how interconnected we all are.

Customized stylistic concepts are developed for every topic on World101, like a graphic novel to explore the risk of a global pandemic…

…to a board game that outlines the rules of ‘Trade Wars’…

…to a living medieval tapestry that communicates the history of sovereignty with each ‘stitch’…

Osmosis handles all aspects of production from photo research, storyboarding, and voiceover, to original score and sound design.

Throughout our engagement with Council on Foreign Relations, we have developed a number of social-driven pieces, including an explainer series on hot button topics for the 2020 election. Original teasers, cut downs, and GIFs are also created to promote World101 on CFR’s website, social channels like Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, and in their newsletters.

It is always a pleasure working with Osmosis. Time and again, we are thoroughly amazed by the team’s fantastic work. Not only are their videos stunningly creative, but they also demonstrate keen insight and understanding into the core ideas we are seeking to communicate with our content and projects.
