Refreshing FNIH Site

Challenge

FNIH accelerates biomedical discoveries that improve people’s lives through its unique position as a convenor and implementer of public-private partnerships with the NIH. However, most of their audiences were not aware of FNIH. At the core of their strategy to drive brand awareness was a complete overhaul of their existing web presence, including their website content, user journeys, and experience to create a hub that reflects the innovation and impact of the FNIH.

Solution

We began by working with FNIH to redesign and develop its online destination, a highly interactive website using multimedia—including video storytelling—to make complicated science understandable, relevant, and exciting. The stakeholder audience journey was reimagined to:

  • Align communications around a core message platform to create clarity and consistency
  • Engage and leverage employees who are thought leaders in their field
  • Connect FNIH’s work to its human and overall scientific impact

We went from concept to completion with an incredible effort and speed to encapsulate all that FNIH does and aspires to do through the voices of their partners, their staff, and what their work means for patients and their caregivers.

Results

The revamped web presence delivered impressive results:

  • 311% increase in new users
  • 477% increase in sessions
  • 672% increase in pageviews
  • 523% increase in pageviews per session
