Many of the financial mistakes people make are caused by one fundamental shortcoming: they can’t see the big picture. We expanded upon this idea, which is outlined in Mark Spitznagel’s book, Safe Haven: Investing for Financial Storms, and developed a colorful animated vignette that uses a metaphor of a Formula 1 race car to explain the Narrow Framing Problem as applied to investing.
